What data we collect

• Speech session recordings (stored locally on device only)
• Practice statistics and scores (stored locally on device only)
• App usage analytics (anonymous, via Sentry)

Where data is stored

On your device only. AI analysis is processed in real-time and not retained by Anthropic.

Who we share data with

• Sentry (crash reporting, anonymised)
• Anthropic Claude API (speech analysis, session-scoped, not stored)

Account requirements

No account is required to use Podium. All data is stored locally on your device.

Device permissions

Podium may request access to the following device capabilities:

• Microphone: Record your speaking sessions for playback and AI analysis
• Speech Recognition: Detect filler words in real-time during practice sessions

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC)

To delete your data: Settings > Clear All Data

Children's privacy

Podium is rated 4+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
